As a private chef, it’s my job to make eating well easy and stress-free for you and your family. Health and wellness are the foundation of my business, and I believe good food is the first step in self-care. When we eat well, we work well, we have more energy, we sleep better, and we generally feel more balanced, even in our busy lives. I am passionate about personalizing menus to meet your unique tastes and health needs. About Me

I am a Chef and Sommelier based in the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire with over a decade of experience in food, wine, and hospitality. I’ve spent years working alongside talented chefs, catering high-end food and wine dinners in California to creating intimate dinners for clients in Vermont. I have my MA in Nutrition and Food Studies from New York University, where I had the opportunity to dive deep in the world of nutrition, food systems, climate change, and food waste. I am equally concerned about eating healthy food as I am about mitigating food waste and am passionate about combining knowledge from both sectors into my personal chef business. My menus are inspired by the seasons, locality, tastes, and global impact. For example, did you know the global impacts of eating lamb from an organic grower in New Zealand can have a smaller carbon footprint than the domestic lamb that is farmed unsustainably? Or that brussels sprouts are far more delicious after the first frost of the season? In my private chef business, I create menus that are delicious, seasonal, and responsible. Living in the Upper Valley area, we are so lucky to live so close to some of the best local farms and producers. Having grown up in Vermont, I was lucky enough to live close to good ingredients and I feel grateful to be home, where the opportunities to cook a variety of dishes are endless. 

As a chef, I am drawn to global spices, flavors, and techniques to the world and am always building recipes that incorporate tastes I’ve experienced in my travels. It was when I was studying in Italy in 2010 that I discovered an equal love for wine, and I haven’t looked back since. I am a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, with expertise in the wide world of wine. I have experience in all facets of wine, from winemaking during busy harvests in California to overseeing wine sales in New York City. My goal has always been to make drinking wine less pretentious and more approachable. Wine doesn’t have to be fussy or complicated, and the perfect wine exists in many bottles. I’m happy to offer wine consultation to clients who seek to do anything from wine cellar organization to curating your event.
